Clive will be talking about the challenges and joys of walking the raw path, and the importance of support and community. lt will be a thought provoking talk, where he ask questions and get people involved.
Bio Information:
Clive has been practising a healthy lifestyle for many years. Previously, he spent five wonderful years working & living in a natural health institute, the Polarity Alive Institute. There they incorporated raw living foods, wheatgrass, and a natural regimen in their program.
He was one of the founding members of Earthsave Canada. These experiences have all bought him to this point, a place he never would have imagined entering. That is when he started his Raw journey in September 2002. Living raw just makes so much sense. He has really appreciated the openness and energy of the raw community as well as their support. It has been such an inspiration.
" This is a very exciting time, as the Raw community ripens in its growth, to expand beyond itself, offering knowledge and understanding, to the numerous people looking for a healthier and more alive lifestyle. There is much to offer. Potlucks, the RawBC website, talks, support groups, and other means of bringing the information and encouragement out into the community."
Everyone is welcome to attend. You don't need to eat raw or vegetarian food normally, or be a member of VIVA or VIVA-Raw. So, please come if you're interested, and enjoy a wonderful potluck of raw vegan foods! RSVPs are not required. Bring your family and friends.
Bring to share, a raw vegan dish of 6 to 8 adult portions (for example, a couple would bring 2 dishes) plus and ingredients list.
It’s your choice of what to bring – Bold culinary experiments or minimalist simple fare, it’s all good. If you don't know what to bring, a simple salad of fruits or vegetables (dressing on the side) is always welcome. An ingredients list placed next to your dish is helpful for those with dietary interests/constraints. Your recipe is also welcome.
